I am intact because born in France. I then spent 40 years in the circumcised USA, struggling to learn about and accept myself. Then I emigrated to a society where older men were cut, younger men and boys were not, and nobody cared. I have been an intactivist since reading Wallerstein's book in 1983 and Romberg's book in 1985.

I don't understand French intactivism, except as a politically incorrect attack on Islamic custom.
* Are any French babies circumcised as newborns?
* By age 15-18, 4% of British boys have been circumcised for phimosis or other real or alleged problems. Is this the case in France? The British Medical Association has set a goal of reducing the 4% by half.
* Are there French surgeons who try to make money from the Securite Sociale by cutting older boys and young men for flimsy reasons, or simply for the sake of appearance?
* Doesn't the circumcised look make most French uneasy, because they see it as aggressively Jewish, and much worse, Moslem?
